Cosma Privacy Policy

A Consona product · Last updated July 2026

Cosma is built to be useful without harvesting you. Your wardrobe lives on your device, and we collect no advertising or tracking data. Here is exactly what happens with what you give it.

Your wardrobe stays on your device

The photos you add, the items Cosma catalogs, your outfits, favorites, and any style or body notes are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere unless you turn on optional sync (off by default).

When you add an item: AI analysis

To identify a garment's category, colors, and material, the item's image may be sent to Cosma's AI service for analysis and sent straight back as text tags. The image is processed transiently to produce those tags and is not stored on our servers. If you prefer fully on-device analysis, leave remote AI off — Cosma falls back to on-device processing.

Try-on is a visualization, never a fit guarantee

Any try-on image is an explicitly labeled visualization. Share cards never include your body photos.

Location

If you allow it, Cosma uses your approximate location to fetch local weather for outfit suggestions. Location is used in the moment and is not stored or linked to you.

No accounts, no ads, no trackers

Cosma has no accounts and no sign-in of any kind. Cosma contains no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics, and no cross-app tracking. We do not sell data — there is none to sell.

Body and measurement data

Any physical features or measurements you enter are optional, stored on your device, used only to tailor advice, and never included in anything you share.

Deleting your data

Because your wardrobe lives on your device, deleting the app removes it. If sync is enabled, you can clear synced data from within the app.
